  • Over the phone ensure to cover:
    • Location: of the patient - a place of safety
    • Personnel: who is looking after the patient / who do you need to be there with you - Paediatric team, ED team, anaesthetics, trauma call
    • Interventions: Any immediate interventions
    • ENT SHO: Asking your SHO to attend with specialist equipment
  • En-route I would inform the operating consultant and anaesthetist of this emergency
